Our Story
Ettore Martelli
Second-Generation Olive Farmer · Tuscany
My father pressed his first harvest the year I was born, and slept beside the tank the way you would sit up with a newborn. I took my first steps between these rows, and everything I know about oil I learned twice: once from him, and once from the trees.
It was my children who built YouGróve. They found words for something I always knew but could never sell: oil isn't a product, it's a place. A hillside. A single pressing, still warm from the harvest. When you adopt a tree, you'll find it on our grove map, follow it through the season, and know exactly which slope filled your bottle.
My father made oil for our village. I make it for families I will likely never meet, but I make it just as he taught me. With patience. With care. With love.
